How to configure my IDES on personal PC for SAP BW?

Hi Everyone,

I have just installed IDES ECC 6.0 EHP 6. With SAP GUI 7.3.

Now I want to practice BW on my IDES system. For that I have started a book "SAP Press- SAP Netwaver BW 2nd Edition" By Amol Palekar, Baharat Petel and Shreekant Shiralker.

Do I have to configure some settings on IDES before start practicing BW on it? If yes, what do I have to do to get started with BW?

I was reading the book it asked me to add a SAP infoObject ( e.g 0CUST_GROUP , 0SALES_OFF, 0SALESEMPLY). But when I searched in RSA1, modeling tab. It say no object found. Do I have to activate something in order for the SAP InfoObject to appear in the list?
