HI ,

To answer your queries.

1) Create 2 system alias, for example alias SAP_ESS_100 pointing to client number 100 and SAP_ESS_200 pointing to client number 200.

2) Once these two aliases are created, in enterprise portal create two folders one for client 100 and one for client 200.

Now copy ESS portal role and paste it as copy(do not keep it as delta link).Example: In folder created for client 100, in the role copied, change system aliases from SAP_ECC_HUMANResources to SAP_ESS_100.

Similarly copy ESS portal role and paste it as copy(do not keep it as delta link) in folder created for client 200, in the role copied, change system aliases from SAP_ECC_HUMANResources to SAP_ESS_200.

Now for applications that come from LPD_CUST, login to client 100 , access tcode lpd_cust.

Go to relevant menu and change the value. Similarly , login to client 200 , access tcode lpd_cust.

Go to relevant menu and change the value.

Now, for users belonging to client 100, assign portal role created  for client 100.

For users belonging to client 200, assign portal role created  for client 200.

To check , whether its pointing to proper R/3 client, you can enable technical help . ON right click , you can get technical information of R/3 system, application details that is being accessed.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Navya.

Imho: quite bad idea to do it that way Navya, this is not supposed to work like that and is absolutely not advisable. This approach results in unecessary double content maintenance etc.

As I wrote in my last post DSR is the right way to solve such requirements

cheers
